Third Favorite Workout Song

As a part of UW Bellydancing, whenever I stretch I can never get Bananza (Belly Dancer) By Akon out of my head. I listened to this song every Tuesday for months. It's an absolutely great song to warm-up to.

DESSERTS that Won't Leave you STRESSED

My favorite meal will always be dessert, yet when you are trying to lose weight you usually lose dessert entirely. I tried to come up with yummy, easy-to-make, lower calorie treats. I hope you enjoy them like I do. I am going to post pictures of each of the final products later.
Green Tea Latte with Almond Milk
ingredients-Powder Green Tea or Matcha, Pure almond milk, cinnamon stick
Heat a cup of almond milk in a pot with a cinnamon stick, do not boil and continuously whisk. Once the milk is to your liking remove the cinnamon stick and whisk with a tablespoon of green tea powder.
Alternative Chocolate Mousse
ingredients- cocoa powder, plain/vanilla greek yogurt, honey, low-cal whipped topping(I use whip cream straight from the can), optional-dark chocolate bar, any kind of berry
Whisk one tablespoon of cocoa powder into 1 cup of greek yogurt. Drizzle a tablespoon of honey on top or whisk through the yogurt. Sprinkle a tablespoon of shaved dark chocolate on top. Serve with strawberries or blackberries.
Pineapple Treat
ingredients- fresh pineapple, graham crackers, honey, slivered almonds, cinnamon
Heat a grill pan on medium and spray with a light canola oil. Grill the pineapple (1/2 inch thick) on both sides for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown grill marks. In a small pan toast the slivered almonds until golden on both sides and add 2 tablespoons of honey and a pinch of cinnamon until bubbling. Cut pineapple while hot into small slices and place on graham crackles. Drizzle honey-almond mixture over pineapple.

Finding a Gym Routine

Whenever I go to the gym, I am usually exhausted after an hour or so. Sometimes I try and spend extra time at the gym, but I find that I am not as productive after an 1hr 1/2. I have recently decided to do two-a-day gym visits. To most people this seems unrealistic, but I happen to have a lot of extra time on my hands and a 24 hr gym.
Scheduling the gym into my day is super important. I feel much more motivated to go to work-out whenever my I-Phone alerts me, "Gym Time." Going to the gym gets me up and out of the house and is a nice get-away.
Create a general time each day set aside just for the gym.

Second Favorite Workout Song

I love dancing around my house to this song. Party Rock Anthem By LMFAO

Take advantage of your time

One of the places I love getting a quick workout in is in the shower. Blast a song thats easy to dance to and just dance. You will easily get an extra five minutes of abs and legs by dancing around. Continue moving while you pick out outfits, brush your teeth, and get dressed.
Other fun ideas...
Always take the stairs.
Park far away from your destination. Whenever I go to the grocery when the weather is nice, I try to take the farthest parking spot so I get the extra walk.
Standing in line is not always the greatest place to work-out but a great place to plan work-outs or meals.

First Favorite Workout Song

1. I love running to Beating Heart Baby by Head Automatica! This song always makes me run faster and I always feel like I get lost in the music; I don't know what it is about this song.

I Know It's Late at Night

TIP 1- no eating after certain hours, cut-out or extremely limit night snacking.
I usually don't go to bed until around 3a.m. and I am pretty sure, actually positive that this is contributing to my weight gain. Around 2 a.m. I usually eat a snack(ego waffles or pretzels) and that should be a big no-no. I need to stop eating anytime after 8. Personally I think this sounds super hard, so I have limited myself to eating only low calorie fruits after 8 p.m. and absolutely no food after 10 or 11p.m. (depending on when I decide to sleep).
WATER- you can have as much water as you would like at anytime of the day
FAVORITE FRUITS for the night- fresh strawberries with a teaspoon of sugar, grilled fresh pineapple (throw them in a hot pan with a squirt of non-stick cooking spray, 2 minutes on each side, a little pinch of brown sugar), apple slices with a bit of cinnamon- don't put too much sugar!
Find what time is best for you and when you like to sleep.
